It was learned that Zixing Forestry Bureau seized the best weather condition to plant trees recently. Many villagers were stimulated to join in this planting activity to promote greening of urban and rural areas.

The barren mountain tops for Zixing section of Chenyong Avenue were the key greening parts for 2014’s greening plan. On the basis of the practical land condition of this section- Danxia landform, thin soil layer and poor drought resistance, the technicians of Zixing Forestry Bureau figured out special afforestation solution for this area with special seedlings. 

When reporters arrived at the planting site, villagers followed the plan to plant crape myrtle and cedarwood .

It was learned that 484mu barren mountain areas along Zixing section of Chenyong Avenue were covered into the greening plan. The total budget investment of this project was amounted to 1.4million yuan. Till now, all work concerned for land preparation and fertilization has been fulfilled and over 200mu areas has been planted with seedlings. It was estimated to finish all planting work before this March 12, 2014.
