It was learned from the tourism departments of Zixing city about 500 million yuan has been placed by the county to carry out series transportation upgrading projects, such as Chenzhou Avenue (Zixing section), Chenyong Avenue (Zixing section), Dongjiang Avenue and some other main roads leading to the landscape. At the meantime, some supporting projects as the travel markings along the expressway, Hunan provincial roads, highways, and etc., special direct bus line from Chenzhou West Train Station (high speed railway station) to Dongjiang lake landscape, and etc. were facilitated to landscape to promote its construction of “5A”landscape.

A“ten-billion-yuan tourism investment plan”which was knee to promote the city’s tourism development was launched by Zixing city in 2011. Series planning as “general plan for national landscape of Dongjiang lake”, “tourism development plan of Zixing city”, “upgrading project for Dongjiang lake’s establishment of national 5A landscape”, and etc. were figured out with high level. About 1.08 billion yuan was placed on upgrading of Dongjiang lake landscape’s infrastructures. Service center, small Dongjiang lake landscape, Dongjiang damn landscape, Doulv island landscape, Huangcao Hunan style town, and some other projects were upgraded accordingly. Some more projects as Hunan- Dongjiang lake cultural tourism street, Dongjiang photography art gallery, Human culture museum, Dongjiang lake stone museum, ecological tourism lines, cycling lines of small Dongjiang lake, rest gallery, arcade, and etc. were facilitated in the landscape to provide the tourists with better service.

Furthermore, enhanced protection work was handled out by the city. A 2-billion-yuan investment project which may cause the pollution of Dongjiang lake’s water resource was denied by the city. Some environmental protection facilities such as new style recycling special service vessel for oil contamination, natural gas tour bus, and etc. were purchased by the city with great amount of money. Cage culture project was promoted by Dongjiang lake to decrease the contamination for the water of Dongjiang lake. Better cleaning work was carried out by Dongjiang landscape with more dustbins and cleaning teams to ensure the 24-hour cleaning work of the landscape. At the meantime, some LED electronic displays and electronic monitoring system were facilitated in the landscape to handle the electronic management of the landscape. E-commerce platform was upgraded as well to provide the online service to the visitors. WIFI, multiple language tourism markings, and etc. were available there. Special technical training courses were held by some relative departments to improve the employees’ ability to provide better safety, tour guide and sanitary service for the visitors. Tourism hotlines were set to answer the questions of the visitors and settle their complaints. Assisted with such sound service network, visitors were satisfied with their trips in Dongjiang lake landscape.
