76,200 Visitors Travel in Zixing City

It was learned from Zixing Holiday Office that all landscapes were hot and in order during this May Day holiday. According to the statistic, 76,200 visitors traveled Zixing city which contributed 23.615million yuan tourism comprehensive income to Zixing city, up 49.89% and 31.68% respectively (Dongjiang lake landscape was with sharp increase of 149% and 223.2% separately).

 

In recent years, Zixing city implemented the strategy of“great development of tourism”and tried great efforts on promoting tourism projects and infrastructure construction, especially on the Dongjiang lake’s establishment of national 5A landscape. More than one billion yuan was invested on Dongjiang lake landscape’s upgrading and transformation. Some new tourism projects as Dongjiang lake cultural street, small Dongjiang river ecological path, digitalization of the landscape, 3D demonstration hall, and etc. were built in this landscape. Dongjiang lake has been established as the first batch of Chinese ecological tourism demonstration area and was fighting for the final stage of establishment of national 5A tourism landscape. Along with these improvement, Zixing city’s tourism level was upgraded greatly.

 

At the meantime, Zixing city paid great attention on the improvement of five tourism brands as “leisure tourism, culture tourism, ecology tourism, health tourism and country style tourism”. It was purposely to promote the transformation of tourism industry to vacation tourism and transformation of regional tourism to popular tourism. Wuling ploughing culture museum,Long-life Buddha temple, Tangxi hot spring, “ancient Mount Nanyue”Mount Huilongshan, Swan Mount National Forest Park, Daiwangzhai Danxia landform, ecology trip for Longxi and Dongping and some other scenic spots attracted more visitors gathered here to enjoy their leisure time.

 

Furthermore, more positive marketing and propaganda work was handled out by Zixing city to popularize the fame of Zixing city’s tourism resources. Canton fair, high speed train, metro, and some other platforms were used by the city to launch the advertisements in Guangzhou, Changsha and other places. On the other hand, days before May Day holiday, relative departments of Zixing city carried out some comprehensive safety and service inspections for landscapes, scenic spots, autos, boats, hotels, shopping malls, entertainment places, and etc. to grant safe and ordered travel condition to visitors.
