It was learned from Chenzhou Transportation Bureau that highway and waterway of Chenzhou city were kept safe and clear during this National Day holiday and 4.71million passengers were delivered by Chenzhou city (except taxies).

During the holiday, 3128 buses were placed to operation everyday for the road transportation with an average delivery rate of 180,000 persons/ day. Total amount of the passengers were accounted to 1.218million people by the road transportation. Concerned for urban transportation, 646 public buses were operated everyday in central urban area with an average delivery rate f 495,000persons/day. Total amount hit 3.34million people. Converned for the waterway, 281 passenger ships were operated everyday to deliver over 166,000 passengers during the holiday with an average rate of 14,000people/day.

To ensure the safety operation of the passenger transportation in the holiday, strict leadership mechanism and duty schedule were handled out by Chenzhou Transportation Bureau. No delay or accident caused by ineffective operation. The passenger transportation work was operated well that no retention happened during the holiday either.
