It was reported that Qu Hai- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou City visited Reshui town, Rucheng county on October 10, 2014 to check its preparation work for 2014 China Chenzhou “city in the forest, leisure city” international (hot spring) leisure tourism festival. Qu required that local infrastructure projects should be promoted along with the festival, while local tourism industry should be promoted by the projects construction mutually. It was purposely to build an international tourism town and forge first class tourism festival.

In order to hold the coming international (hot spring) leisure tourism festival well, Rucheng county launched series projects as upgrading of roads, reconstruction of service facilities, and etc. in Reshui town.

Qu Hai visited the construction site of Yire road, Reshui town’s tourist service center, hot spring square, upgrading project of Fuquan villa, hot spring culture park, Reshui river landscape belt, and etc. during his investigation. He highly affirmed the projects construction work handled out by Reshui town and stated that local government should well organize the preparation work of this tourism festival to ensure it to be handled out successfully; better propaganda work should be promoted to popularize Chenzhou city and Chenzhou city’s tourism and attract more visitors to attend the festival; infrastructure construction should be enhanced to accelerate the speed on the creation of more high quality and high end tourism products; tourist service should be optimized to upgrade the tourism consumption condition and the employees’quality; and rural tourism and rural inn tourism should be developed together with the hot spring tourism, and better ecological environment protection and upgrading of rural environment should be promoted to grant the visitors with better environment and make local people to be benefited from the tourism exploration.

Qu emphasized that it was the harvest season of the autumn rice, relative departments should pay more attention on the firefighting by enhancing the patrol and guard for forest fire prevention and treatment on illegal behaviors to ensure the safety of the festival.

On his way to Rucheng county, Qu Hai arranged a special trip to the construction site of Chishi Bridge to check its construction work. Qu was glad to find that two sections of the bridge was about to be joined. He stated that the project should be accelerated with high quality and safety to meet the time schedule to be finished before 2015 Spring Festival. He also asked all relative departments should provide active service for the bridge to grant it with good construction environment.

Qu said Chishi Bridge is not just a transportation hub project, but a symbolic construction with good potential for tourism, so it should be followed overall planning and scientific design to be built as a green, beautiful and landscape bridge which can be integrated with local sceneries. At the meantime, the tourist service center should be well constructed to provide good sightseeing condition for all the visitors there.
