It was learned from Chenzhou Transportation Bureau that followed the arrangement for last year of great transportation construction issued by Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Chenzhou Government, all relative departments enhanced the coordination and supervision work to promote the projects construction together. 5.332billion yuan investment was finished for Chenzhou city’s transportation construction in the first three quarters, ranking the top place of Hunan province.

Concerned for the expressway projects, 619million yuan was completed for Chishi Bridge for Xiarong expressway and last stage construction of Yanru expressway which were estimated to be fulfilled in the end of this year; budget, working plan, design, bidding, selection of investors and other preliminary work for Guixin expressway were handled out well according to the time schedule; Linlian expressway was enrolled into the list of Hunan provincial plan and was submitted to the State Transportation Ministry; and expressway of Huangsha-Mount Mangshan- Changle was listed into Hunan provincial plan and was on the process of approval for the working plan. Concerned for the highway projects, 1.46billion yuan was finished for the 15 continuous construction projects, covering 98% of Hunan provincial tasks, 9 of which were proceeded to the pavement construction; review for the working plan was finished for the 16 new projects, 4 of which were on the process of figuring the construction drawing. Concerned for the rural roads, 320million yuan investment and 373kilometers pavement were finished, covering 86.8% of Hunan provincial tasks. Some other projects as reconstruction of dangerous bridges and station yards were finished with 629million yuan. Preliminary work was finished for the reconstruction of 59 dangerous bridges and 21 were been completed, covering 35% completion rate of Hunan provincial tasks.

The volume of circular flow of highway and waterway was about 29.4billion tons kilometers, up 16.81%. 29.3billion tons kilometers were for highway with an increase of 16.68%, while 200billion tons kilometers were for waterway with an increase of 39%. Both the total volume and increase rate were ranking top place in Hunan province.

6 new and optimized public buses lines were placed to operation in Chenzhou urban area, which helped to transfer 114million person/time, up 5%. More efforts were placed on the public bus docking for industrial parks, bus terminal, and Wuguang high speed train station. Some favorable policies as 50% discount for air conditioner buses and free ticket for special people helped to save 67.50million yuan for people, up 12%. Public bus handled 24.6% daily transportation of Chenzhou city. Chenjia trans-city public bus was opened to public. Shuoshiqiao public bus station filed was estimated to be finished in 2014. Some special actions for the treatment of illegal behaviors and operations of passenger transportation were carried out by Chenzhou city, which greatly helped to optimize the market.

Focusing on the target to forge the national modern comprehensive transportation hub and mass-satisfied transportation, Chenzhou city paid balance attention on construction, management and protection, which upgraded the transportation condition greatly. 120million yuan investment was finished for the upgrading of 107 national road. 70.03million yuan was invested on the reconstruction of highways, 36kilometers pavements of which have been finished yet. 150 LNG air conditioner public buses were placed to operation, accounting for 150% of annual plan. The total amount of new energy buses were 499 ones now, which indicated that Chenzhou public transportation entered the era of natural gas.
