It was reported that the opening ceremony of 2014 “Oostakker Cup” Hunan Rucheng China Rally Championship was held in Rucheng county, Chenzhou city on October 10, 2014. It will last for 3 days.

69 racing drivers from 27 motorcades attended the fourth stop of 2014 China Rally Championship. Subaru, Skoda Red Bull, FAW-VW, and some other traditional strong motorcades were present there, but Han Han who is the star racing driver of China did not attend the race this time.

All the routes for this stop were set in Rucheng county where was with many mountains and big bends, which would make the champion to be more exciting. 174.4kms of the total 542.96kms long routes were for special stage, which were mainly for concrete pavements. 8 sections were set for this stop, which were made up with following two roads: 29.14kms long Nuanshui-Yijiang road part which was with half concrete pavement and half asphalt pavement, and 14.59kms long Sanjiangkou-Dongling road part which was with concrete pavement.

Wei Di- Vice Chairman of Federation of Automobile Sports of PRC, Feng Xiangjiang- Vice Chairman of Hunan Sports Federation, and some municipal leaders of Chenzhou city were present at the opening ceremony.
