Many people gathered in Yongxing Yuelai Hot Spring Resort on November 23, 2014 to enjoy the closing ceremony of 2014 China Chenzhou “City in the Forest, Leisure City” International (Hot Spring) Leisure Tourism and Culture Festival. Qu Hai- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou City attended the closing ceremony and delivered closing address there.

It was learned that the festival was opened in Rucheng county on this November 8 with the theme of “hot spring and leisure”. 27 items of 7 categories as artistic performance, sightseeing, propaganda and promotion, theme contest, special forum, exhibition, and etc. were held by the counties, districts and sub-ordinate departments of Chenzhou city and some industry associations during this festival, which showed the rich hot spring resources, profound cultural connotation and elegant natural sceneries of Chenzhou city.

Qu Hai stated on his address that along with the tourism cultural exchange, propaganda of Chenzhou city’s tourism and cultural resources, and other activities held during this festival, Chenzhou city was further popularized with better fame. On this point, this festival was handled out successfully. It was a feast with large scale, wide range and colorful activities; a feast with distinct theme, new model and lots of fun; and a feast with grand simplicity, good effect and completeness.

Qu Hai stated that this festival would help to accelerate the promotion of Chenzhou city and its tourism and culture, accelerate Chenzhou city’s opening up and scientific development, and popularize the brand of “city in the forest, leisure city”. The unique ecological environment, folk culture, hot spring leisure, and etc. would impress all the guests with sound image of Chenzhou city. Qu expressed his warm greetings to all people to visit Chenzhou city and place their investment there to reach win-win cooperation.

A splendid performance with special Yongxing features was operated in the closing ceremony.
