It was reported that Chinese prize-winning works of Netherlands World Press Photo Contest were exhibited in “China Photography Exhibition Hall- Zixing Exhibition Center”( Dongjiang Lake Photography Art Gallery). Thousands of fans were attracted to gather there to enjoy the excellent works.
Netherlands World Press Photo Contest which was founded in 1950’s has been held for 52tims till now. It is one of the largest scale and most influential press photo contests of the world, which plays a significant role on promoting the improvement of press photo. China Photographic Academy (former Chinese Photographers Association) jointed in the first contest and 45works were selected into it. In the 52th contest, 7 Chinese photographers won three first prize, three second prize and one third prize, which was the best result achieved by Chinese attendants. The collection works of the prize-winning works of the contest included “retired Dengxiaoping” by Yang Shaoming, “Aids village” by Lu Guang, “Jodo- bloody stadium” by Wu Xiaobo, “winner of Chinese Gymnastics team” by Jia Guorong, “Liaocheng children acrobatics school” by Li Nan and some other excellent press photos.
