It was reported that the opening ceremony of 2015 China- Anren Ganfensh ( Shennong vernal equinox medicine festival) & 7th Cole Flower Festival was held in Field Park of Anren county on March 4, 2015. Some leaders of Anren county attended the ceremony.

The opening ceremony was hosted by Li Xiaojun- Deputy Secretary of Anren County Party Committee and County Chief of Anren County. Li Jiunan- Deputy Secretary of Anren County Party Committee presented brief introduction of the schedules of the festival after a short but excellent performance. Xie Chun- Secretary of Anren County Party Committee announced the opening of the festival.

Ganfenshe is an ancient folk activity of Anren county which is an annual activity inherited for thousand years. It has been successfully declared as national intangible heritage. In recent years, Anren county kept handling the strategy of “improving the development with culture” and placed great attention on improving the cultural tourism industry. China- Anren Ganfensh ( Shennong vernal equinox medicine festival) & Cole Flower Festival has been kept holding for years. Both tourists and local people highly appraised Anren county’s improvement on the cultural tourism industry. Especially after the opening of national 4A landscape of Field Park, large amounts of visitors gathered here to enjoy the rural scenery of south Hunan. Anren county became one of the top ten cole flower tourism destinations of China.

Every year, the sponsor combines the most popular elements of the year with most traditional filed and flowers to grant a visual feast to all the visitors. Different from earlier years, all cole flowers planted this year were followed with mechanized farming, so the flower season can be kept for longer than one month till March 22, 2015. The Fanfenshe & cole flower festival would be last till the end of this March as well.
