When reporters arrived at the first phase of Wangxianling tourism resort, workers were busy with the pavement of water stable layer of the square. The major structure of visitors’ center has been shaped preliminarily. The engineering vehicles for delivering seedlings and planting soils were being shuttled back and forth in the construction site.

In recent years, focused on establishing the tourism brand of “city in the forest, leisure city”, Suxian district followed the general idea of integration development of “urban area, landscapes and industrial parks”to fight for the construction of “two mountains, two hills and one sprint”(Feitian mountain & Fanwugaishan mountain, Suxianling & Wangxianling, and Xujiadong hotspring) on the basis of projects and promote the construction of some key cultural tourism projects as Feitian mounatin tourism and culture industrial park, Wangxianling tourism resort, and etc. It was purposely to cultivate the cultural tourism to new economic increasing point and mainstay industry.

It was learned that three of the four Hunan province key projects submitted by Suxian districts were tourism projects. Feitian mountain has been established to be national 4A landscape successfully. The east gate of Feitian mountain was started on May 2, 2015. The detailed planning for the construction of“Feitian-Suxian” live-action performance has been already finished and was launched on May 15, 2015. Wangxianling project was being proceeded to the construction of inner lake, dam, visitors’ center, and etc. Till now, 150million yuan project amount has been finished. The first phase of Wangxian road has been fully completed and past the approval successfully. The surface clearing work for previous part of Xiangshan Temple of the second phase of Wangxian road has been finished and some of the sections have been proceeded to the roadway excavation. 10million yuan investment has been finished. At the meantime, followed the development concepts of “better city life”and“urban area= landscape”, South Tower Park, East Tower Park, Shiliuwan Park, Wangjiang Park, Suxian Lake Park, Beach Park, and some other parks have been constructed and opened to public. Especially for the Beach Park, it became a Hunan provincial famous beach sports park and is often full of visitors.

In the first quarter of 2015, 635,000 visitors were received by Suxian district, accounting for 473million yuan comprehensive tourism income, which were with the increase of 15.2% and 14.7% separately.
