It was reported that Chen Shezhao- Chairman of Chenzhou Municipal CPPCC led a team with the principals of Chenzhou Municipal CPPCC, subordinate departments of Chenzhou City and some central and Hunan provincial departments stationed in Chenzhou City to investigate Banliang village of Gaoting town of Yongxing county and held an on-site work there.

From the beginning of 2015, the support team stationed in Banliang village and local villages worked together to promote the protection and development of the ancient village. Till now, 9 ancient buildings, slate tourism line from Jielong bridge to Longquan, reconstruction of Shuanglongquan, ecological parking lot and greening project, vertical reconstruction of 11 black brick buildings, rural road, environment improvement, three supplies and one leveling of the settlement, and some other projects have been finished. The projects of visitors center, Jielongping square, and etc. have almost been completed. Taohua Island and Banxi two-compartment ecological slop protection projects were being improved and were estimated to be finished in the end of this October. Now, focusing on the targets of the establishment of national 4A landscape, Banliang ancient village were fighting for the construction work with high level planning and projects.

Chen Shezhao emphasized that all work should be focused on the target of establishment of national 4A landscape to perfect service system of ancient village’s public tourism culture, promote the projects construction, upgrade the service quality, and optimize the tourism environment; the propaganda work should be promoted to guide more villagers join in the establishment work and upgrade their civilization quality; the consciousness for the best should be fostered by respecting the historical culture and figuring sound planning, design and construction work to create more characteristic cultural boutiques.
