The site of promotion conference of 2015 Hunan International Tourism Festival

It was reported that the “splendid Xiaoxiang, happy Hunan”-promotion conference for Hunan international tourism products was held in Sheraton Hotel of Changde city on Sept. 12, 2015. Hunan provincial and Changde municipal level tourism resources, tourism products and boutique routes were promoted on the conference. Zhou Derui- Mayor of Changde City introduced the main landscapes of Changde city.

Currently, there are 264 A grade scenic spots, 555 star level hotels, and 848 travel agencies available in Hunan province. In recent years, culture- tourism- economy belts of Hukun high speed train (Hunan section) and great east Hunan, and some boutique traveling routes and products were developed by Hunan province. Over 400million international and domestic tourists visited Hunan province in 2014, contributing 300billion yuan tourism revenue.

This promotion conference was hosted by Hunan Tourism Bureau and Changde Government. Over 400 guests as officers of the world’s tourism organization and Asia-Pacific tourism organization, foreign and domestic journalists and travel agencies, principals of 9+2 Pan-Pearl River Delta and tourism bureaus of 6 provinces of central China, principals of subordinate departments of Hunan province, mayors, deputy mayors and directors of tourism bureau of the cities and autonomous prefectures of Hunan province, principals of some airlines, ambassadors of Germany, the Netherlands and Australia, the American, France and Korean consuls of consulate-general stationed in Wuhan city, representatives of sister cities of Changde city, investors of OCT and Wanda, some tourism experts and cultural celebraties were present at the conference.
