1.681 Billion Yuan Tourism Income Hits on National Day Holiday

Though the weather was not so good during this National Day holiday, many visitors were still attracted to travel to Chenzhou city. Urban areas tourism, hot spring tourism and red tourism were hot. It was learned from Chenzhou Tourism Bureau and Chenzhou Foreign Affairs Bureau that 3.40million travelers were received by Chenzhou city during that holiday, up 10.92%. The average renting rate of star hotels was 89.40%. 1.681billion yuan tourism revenue was hit on that holiday, up 15.85%. Independent travel was the most popular way.
During that holiday, cars from Guangdong, Guangxi, Jiangxi, and other provinces were parked in the streets and landscapes of the landscapes of Chenzhou city. The new history record of self-driving tour was reached by many key landscapes.

 

According to the statistics, 50% of the travelers to Suxianling, Mount Mang National Forest Park, Dongjiang Lake, Longnv hot spring, Rucheng hot spring and some other landscapes chose self-driving, some of which were even up to 85%. A short time traffic jam was happened near Dongjiang Lake landscape, because great amount of cars were parked near there. Concerned for Mount Mang National Forest Park, because there were too many visitors travelled there, no hotel was available for there on Oct. 3 and Oct. 4 that some of them can only live in the hotels 20kms away from the landscape.

 

Niche travel became an emerging travel mode of Chenzhou tourism market. Different from the traditional travel that flowed to famous landscapes, niche travel advocated the concept of “traveling to different places, enjoying different landscape and keeping different memories”. “Photography trip”, “cycling trip” and some other theme trips were hot during that holiday.
