It was reported that Hunan section of 6th Tour of China was closed successfully on October 15, 2015. Hunan section includes Xinning stop of Shaoyang city, Shaoshan stop of Xiangtan city and Zixing stop of Chenzhou city. More than 100 players from 22 professional teams of 16 countries of four continents finished 395.1kms journey of Hunan stage. The leaders of local China Life Insurance Companies attended the firing ceremony and joined in honored cycling as well.

It was introduced that 2015 Tour of China is the top level professional cycling match approved by the State Sports Bureau and hosted by Cycling & Fencing Management Center of the State Sports Bureau and Chinese Cycling Association. During the 17-day match, the players would ride over 5500kms via Hubei, Sichuan, Chongqing, Hunan and Guangdong province. Along with 4 years improvement, Tour of China becomes one of the top 4 tours of the world and top one of Asia. Till now, 40 cities of 11 provinces of China have undertaken this event. Thanks to CCTV live show and the reports of the main media in China and abroad, the influence of Tour of China is being expanded day by day.
