2015 Tour of China was successfully closed on October 18, 2015. Chenzhou-Zixing section was honored with the title of“most beautiful track of 2015 Tour of China”, which indicated the netizens’ affirmation of Chenzhoucity’s ecological landscape.

In recent years, Chenzhou city did not only try great efforts on upgrading the forest coverage by afforestation, nurturing, complementary planting, greening, and etc., but also pay high attention on the upgrading of ecological landscape. “Chenzhou 2015-2017 implementation solution of upgrading of forest ecological landscape”was issued in 2014, on which highlighted the upgrading of ecological landscape on the arterial traffic, banks of waters, urban area, visible forest land of first ridge surrounded urban area, river, and etc. Concerned for the low quality, simple forest form and single style landscape forest in expressed ways ( railways), national and Hunan provincial roads, banks of important waters and visible forest land of first ridge surrounded urban area, it carried out the complementary planting of different species of landscape plants to adjust their forest structure and upgrade the forest quality. At the meantime, it enhanced the greening work on urban parks, gardens, courtyards and urban areas and landscape construction in rivers and waters of important scenic spots, which helped to forge natural ecological landscape.

Currently, the crown coverage of urban streets is 26.25% in urban greening. 104 green lands which are mainly different parks are established in urban area. Concerned for the greening of rural area, it highlighted the characters of nature, country land and diversity to promote the greening construction near villages, houses, waters, roads, and some other spaces, which helped to form characteristic rural greening landscape, finish greening of 16,400 villages, and establish 200 greening demonstration towns and counties and 800 greening demonstration villages.

Concerned for the road greening work, it finished the work of tens greening demonstration avenues as Chenzhou section of Wuhan-Guangzhou high speed train, Chenzhou section of Jinggang’ao expressway, Chenzhou Avenue, Chenyong Avenue, and etc., all of which forms multiple functional and colorful ecological landscape protective screen for Chenzhou city.
