It was reported that in the afternoon of November 2, 2015, Chenzhou Government and Tuniu signed a cooperation agreement. According to the agreement, the two parties would work together on tourism resources, user resources, technological resources, and etc. to provide more convenient travelling, accommodation, shipping, food, entertainment, transportation, and other information and online service by applying better online reservation and online pay technologies.

As introduced by Mao Xinxing- Senior Director of Destination Sales Department of Tuniu, deepening cooperation on the exploration of Chenzhou city’s tourism resources, packing of tourism products, planning of tourism events, and etc. would be carried out between both parties in future.

Li Liming- Director of Chenzhou Tourism and Foreign Affairs Bureau said to the reporters that it would be more efficient to promote Chenzhou city’s leisure tourism by applying“internet+” to tourism marketing, promotion, products construction, and etc. It was a new attempt to work together with Tuniu. More attention would be placed on enhancing the construction of smart tourism, which would need some wisdom travelers, explorers, servers and managers to popularize Chenzhou city’s tourism and promote Chenzhou city to be leisure tourism resort by enhancing the marketing with internet new technological methods
