First trans-regional tourist-dedicated train “golden autumn”

The first trans-regional tourist-dedicated train of Hunan province-“golden autumn” returned after its 4-day trip on November 2, 2015.About 500 tourists most of whom were from Changsha, Zhuzhou and Xiangtan city chose this train. Ms. Li who was from Changsha city said gladly to the reporters that the train was different from other tourism products and all visitors were treated as honorable guests. “Once arrived the station, the tourism buses were ready for us to travel to the scenic spots and no shopping tours included on it.”

It was introduced that this activity was jointly sponsored by Chenzhou Tourism & Foreign Affairs Bureau, Shaoguan Tourism Bureau, Danxia Mountain landscape, Rucheng Tourism & Foreign Affairs Bureau and Rucheng Fuquan Villa, and was undertaken by Star Travel Agency and some other travel agencies of Changsha, Zhuzhou and Xiangtan city. Two-way ticket, leisure quality tourism and tourism guide service for the whole journey were offered by this train. Zhuzhou city is one of the stops of the route. The whole journey’s agenda was as follow: travelling the world’s natural heritage- national 5A landscape Danxia Mountain; learning the sources of Neo-Confucianism- Lianxi Academy and the ancient ancestral temples; enjoying natural hot spring bath with highest flow and temperature of China; and tasting rural foods of south Hunan and north Guangdong.

Chen Zhongyao- Deputy Director of Shaoguan Tourism Bureau stated that in 2014 chief executives joint conference for cooperation of the Pearl River Delta area, Hunan province submitted a 10-billion-yuan invested “Hunan- Guangdong cooperation pilot”project, on which Shaoguan city of Guangdong province and Chenzhou city of Hunan province were covered. This trans-regional tourist-dedicated train was a new try for the cooperation between Hunan and Guangdong province.

“After working together with Chenzhou and Shaoguan city, we got to know well about their tourism markets. We also considered there would be great potential to combine the two city’s featured tourism products together, and would be greatly helpful to promote the tourism development of the two cities as well, so we decided to explore such kind of tourism product.” said by Chen Juan- General Manager of Star Travel Agency. As introduced by some travel agencies of Changsha, Zhuzhou and Xiangtan city, some visitors kept registered till the deadline. In order to meet their demands, the Star Travel Agency planned to launch the second Chenzhou- Shaoguan tourist dedicated train on November 27, 2015.
