When reporters passed Taihe town of Guiyang county recently, they were badly attracted by the “red pepper” shaped street lamps facilitated on the asphalt road. Taihe town is famous as “county of Gong pepper”. Such kind of “red pepper” shaped street lamps highlight local “pepper culture” and the hostility of local people. It was introduced that the lightening up project was launched in November 2013. Assisted with 4 million yuan investment, 200 “red pepper” shaped street lamps were installed along the roads.
