It was reported that S215 high grade tourism highway from Huangsha town to Mount Mang National Forest Park of Yizhang county was placed to operation on November 27, 2015. Compared with the old highway, this new one is over 20kms shorter, which is significant to the improvement of Mount Mang tourism.

This 27.5kms long highway is one of the arterial highways listed in “12th five-year plan” of Hunan province. It is an important connecting line for Yifeng expressway and Mount Mang National Forest Park. It was started in the end of May, 2013 followed the secondary high standards and covered with 328million yuan investment in total. It starts from Huangsha exit of Yifeng expressway and ends at the gate of Mount Mang National Forest Park via Huangsha town, Tiantang town, and Yao minority of Mount Mang. Its roadbed is 12meters wide and pavement is 9meters wide. 7 bridges, 1 tunnel and 109 culverts were built for this highway.

Along S215 Huang-Mang highway, visitors can enjoy beautiful sceneries and abundant agricultural products such as Chinese gooseberry of Changcun village, blueberry and vegetables of Huangsha, pod pepper of Tiantang, tea and bracken fern rice cake of Mount Mang, and etc. It would be helpful to lay sound foundation for the promotion of rural inn, tourism economy, and tourism of Mount Mang by opening this highway.
