Opening ceremony of 2016 China Aerospace Exhibition
It was reported that 2016 China- Chenzhou Aerospace Exhibition & Remote Sensing Application Exhibition was opened on January 8, 2016. It will last from January 8 to March 8, 2016
The exhibition was sponsored by China Remote Sensing Application Association, Hunan Science & Technology Ministry, and Chenzhou Government, and was undertaken by Hunan Zhonghang Weiye Cultural Development Co., Ltd. In the 10,000 square meters big exhibition areas, 8 halls as China Aerospace Hall, China Remote Sensing Application Hall, Aerospace Multimedia Interaction Hall, Spaceflights Display Hall, Astronauts Training Center, Children Aerospace Theme Hall, Aerospace Future Hall, and Aerospace Life Hall are set there. Visitors can check some pictures and texts of the history of Chinese aerospace development, and can see hundreds of exhibits of aerospace modules, including some treasurable exhibits borrowed from national level aerospace museum.
In the interaction zone, visitors can enjoy a vivid space trip via series high-tech experiencing products.
Furthermore, some science popularization activities as “key technics and applications of high resolution remote sensing terrestrial system”, and etc. will be held during the exhibition.
It was introduced that Chenzhou is the 6th stop for nationwide aerospace tour and 3rd stop of Hunan province. It was purposely to highlight two themes as scientific quality and patriotism education. The visitors can have the chance to touch the real aerospace products, enjoy the whole process of launching, flying in space, and returning of land, and also learn more knowledge of the remote sending application from the exhibition.
Li Ting- Deputy Mayor of Chenzhou City attended the opening ceremony and announced the opening of the exhibition. Gong Jianya- Academician of Chinese Academy of Science and Dean of Remote Sensing Information Engineering Institute of Wuhan University, and Luo Ge- Director of Chinese Remote Sending Application Association were present at the opening ceremony.
