It was learned from Chenzhou Establishment Office that the first Landscape Gardening Contest of Chenzhou City would be held in the morning of February 1, 2016 on Xiangcao town of Shigaitang.

When reporters arrived at the venue of the contest in the afternoon of January 28, 2016, all the works of the participants were finished. Besides some landscape architectures as square of main entrance, characteristic flower street of featured park, green valley, and etc., the participants also applied some unique features of the counties and districts of Chenzhou city, such as the mini foggy small Dongjiang river, Beihu Lake’s water and moon, Field Park, ancient Southern Chu ancestral hall of Rucheng county, and other landscapes. All the works exhibited on the contest would be voted by experts, tourists on site, and network.

It was introduced that 20 units from 11 counties and districts of Chenzhou city participated in the contest. It was purposely to increase the ecological landscape gardening level of Chenzhou city, form unique features of the city, prepare for the city’s application of “2018 Asian Garden Expo”, and decorate the city higher level works. All the works would be reserved in Xiangcao town as the infrastructures of landscape gardening.
