It was reported that 2016 Dongjiang Lake-Liaojiang Spring Tour was held in Chengjiaping village, Liaojiang town, Zixing city on March 12, 2016. Thousands of visitors and citizens gathered in Liaojiang to enjoy their spring time.

This spring tour was with the theme of “colorful Liaojiang- fragrant land- looking for the most beautiful spring”. Spring returns to the earth in March and Liaojiang is full of colorful and fragrant flowers in the spring, especially the golden cole flowers decorate Liaojiang with spectacular sceneries, which attracts people to gather there.

In the opening ceremony, Zixing Huagu Opera Troupe performed excellent folk dances of Zixing city and some other sketches there. Some visitors use their special ways to record their favorite image of Liaojiang’s spring.

In recent years, Liaojiang town of Zixing city well implemented the special project to promote transformation and upgrading of traditional agriculture and increase local people’s income. It held three times of Cole Flower Festival in last three years on the basis of its 20,000-mu cole flowers, which helped to forge cole flower brand of the town and forge an industrial chain with flower trip, entertainment, shopping, and catering. It well realized the dynamic integration between cole plantation and leisure sightseeing.
