Due to the spectacular images of spring in April, the landscapes of Chenzhou city are full of visitors from other places. In recent days, it was learned from Chenzhou Tourism Bureau that over 9million visitors were received by Chenzhou city in the first quarter, contributing more than 0.7million yuan income, up 11.81% and 15.84% respectively.
From the beginning of 2016, Chenzhou city followed the general strategy of “keeping the leading role, improving overall development” and focused on general target of “five Chenzhou” to improve the development of cultural tourism industry with more innovative methods.
Rural leisure tourism plays very important role on the improvement. Thanks for the fulfillment of Xihe tourism landscape belt, the rural leisure tourism along the belt became more and more popular. Guiyang Jiuzhuyuan Villa, Qixiu Villa, Yongxing Banliang ancient village, and some other landscapes were the hottest places of Chenzhou in this spring. Rural tourism was also popular in some other countries and villages.
Self-driving tourism becomes the main travelling mode. Due to the improvement of transportation infrastructures and smart tourism, more visitors are favored with self-driving to enjoy their trip, especially the short-term trip. “Enjoying a rural new year trip by staying in rural inn” was one of the key features for this Chinese Spring Festival. Brand landscapes were more popular. Great achievements were gained by Chenzhou city on the establishment of brand landscapes in 2015, such as one 5A landscape, one 4A landscape, 4 3A landscapes, one Hunan provincial tourism resort, two Hunan provincial “two-oriented” landscapes, two Hunan provincial industrial tourism demonstrations, two Hunan provincial ecological tourism demonstrations, and six Chenzhou municipal “two-oriented” landscapes. The upgrading of landscapes attracted a large number of visitors from Guangdong province, HK, and Macau, which promoted the brand landscapes tourism as well.
