The list of “first batch of Hunan provincial demonstrations of production-town integration” was released on the official website of Hunan Development and Reform Commission. Tangcun town of Jiahe county (forging small town, tentatively, similarity hereinafter), Bolin town of Yongxing county (silver craft small town), Feitianshan town of Suxian district (clean river small town), and Reshui town of Rucheng county (hot spring small town) were enrolled into the list. 13 towns were listed there. Chenzhou is the city with most numbers on the list.

It was learned that a special fund would be designated by Hunan Development and Reform Commission, which was mainly on improving series of demonstrations of production-town integration with features of industrial innovation, upgraded industrial functions, and integrated development of production and town. It was purposely to improve the development industries, popularizing brands, and play better demonstration role to other towns. All the four towns enrolled in the list of first batch demonstrations would help to improve Chenzhou city’s transformation and upgrading of economy, overall development of urban and rural areas, demonstration towns’ economy, and then establish characteristic industries, increase local people’s income, and improve their living conditions accordingly.

It was learned from Chenzhou Development and Reform Commission that Chenzhou Government would pay closer attention on the planning, construction, and development of characteristic small towns; would learn more advanced experience from Zhejiang province; would pay more attention on the overall design; would focus on the industrial orientation; would follow the requirements of “5 concepts of development” and highlight “two-oriented” construction and development; would combine it together with the increasing points of the establishment of increasing pole; would improve the demonstrations to be with sound influence nationwide; would play the driving role of the demonstrations; and would establish more characteristic demonstrations based on the demands of market.
