It was learned from the press conference of 2017 Hunan Spring Rural Tourism Festival & Chenzhou Beautiful Rural Tourism and Cultural Festival that the festival will be opened in Rice Filed Park of Anren County on March 17, 2017. The theme for this opening ceremony was confirmed “Rice Field Park, the cole flowers are blooming”.

In recent years, Chenzhou city tried great efforts on improving the development of tourism and cultural industry. Series policies as “Comments on improving the development of tourism industry and promoting Chenzhou City to be strong tourism city”, “Comment on improving the development of hot spring industry and promoting Chenzhou City to be ‘hot spring city of China’”, “Special rewards for Chenzhou tourism industry”, and etc. were carried out in Chenzhou City. It took active actions on adapting to the new trend of popular tourism and focused on the targets of improving Chenzhou City to be international leisure tourism destination, “strong tourism city with the tourism revenue of 100billion yuan”, and new increasing pole of Hunan provincial tourism industry. Some major tourism projects were being promoted in Chenzhou City, which helped to enhance the foundation of its tourism industry. The tourism and cultural industry is being improved well in the city.

This tourism festival is consisted of “1+5” part. “1” refers to the opening ceremony. Anren “Ganfenshe” which is an extended item of the 24 solar terms will be inaugurated with plague of UNESCO “the world’s intangible cultural heritage”. “5” refers to five main activities as plow ceremony, stuntkite show, Wechat image-text contest, Chinese herbal medicine trade, and commodity show. Besides these activities, visitors can enjoy themselves in the “Ganfenshe” event, Rice Field Park, cole flower field, green mountains, and etc.

Feng Haiyan who is the Member of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee Standing Committee and Minister of Propaganda Department briefed the introduction of Chenzhou tourism and cultural industry and this festival. Zhou Hailin- Deputy Mayor of Chenzhou City attended relative activities.
