In order to do a good job in the improvement of the polluted environment in Yongxing County, and in conjunction with the battle for the prevention and control of pollution in Yongxing County and the related work of the summer offensive, Zhao Yu, Secretary of the County Party Committee, insisted on holding regular meetings of the leading group for the prevention and control of pollution, conveying and learning the spirit of the documents of the superior meetings, and listening to the report of the work. County Governor Liu Chaohui, Vice-County Governor Gu Luwen and other county leaders went deep into the front line to understand the situation and promote the work, making the phased achievements in the work of environmental pollution control.

Firstly, urban black and odorous water body renovation work: the black and odorous water body renovation of Laodaijia Group in Benjiang Street was completed in May 2019, the pipeline network of Zhangshu Town sewage treatment facility construction project had been fully laid, the preparatory work for the transformation of Wujiahe Tielong Village Section in Yangtang Township, and 75 percent of the drainage ditch of agricultural and trade market in Gaotingsi Town (Dayang Village to Jiusan River, and the treatment of black and odorous water has been completed.

Second, the investigation of the delimitation of the drinking water source protection zones in villages and towns: the groundwork investigation of the drinking water source at the township level has been completed, and the technical plan formulation unit for the delimitation of surface water source protection zones has been determined, and the technical plan for the delimitation of surface water source protection zones is being worked out.

Third, the renovation work of provincial industrial parks: the two new parks and high-tech parks are carrying out environmental investigation, establishing problem accounts, implementing the renovation plan by system, and the two new sewage treatment plants and Chengnan sewage treatment plant are preparing for acceptance. The first sewage treatment plant in Bolin Park has been built and operated normally. The main project of the second sewage treatment plant in Taihe Park has been completed, and all the process pipelines in the plant have been completed.

Fourth, the dust control of construction sites in urban built-up areas: 80 percent of the construction sites in urban built-up areas have achieved "six hundred percent" of dust control.

Fifth, the work of retirement in the forbidden area: 31 families need to be retired in the forbidden area of the county. In July, the task has been completed.
