Toksun county is subordinate to Turpan City, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, located in the Middle East of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, the southern foot of Tianshan Mountain, and the west of Turpan Basin. Toksun County, which means "nine rivers", is the only "zero point city" at sea level in China. There are abundant tourism resources in the territory, such as igneous rock wind erosion stone forest area, panjili strange stone forest, kerjian rock painting, kerjian tourist area, Wanfo palace, Yadan landform, Tianshan Red River Valley, etc. There are 40 well preserved historical sites such as beacon tower of the Tang Dynasty. Among them, the drainage map of kerjian rock paintings is discovered for the first time in the world and has high research value.
