The construction of the Yangtian Lake Scenic Area is proceeding smoothly. The construction work of high-end homestays and the clear-up of the business streets and the lake surface came to an end on June 20. At present, the infrastructure and supporting facilities are under construction.

Located in Yangtianhu Yao Ethnic Town and Lutang Town in Beihu District, Chenzhou City, the project has been invested with 5 billion yuan, covering an area of 123,000 mu (8,200 hectares), among which a land of nearly 600 mu (40 hectares) is used for construction. After its completion, the annual tourism revenue is expected to reach 600 million yuan.
