Gaoyiling, once praised by netizens as “a forgotten land,” is located in Feitianshan Town, Suxian District, Chenzhou City. Composed of Feitian Mountain, Bianjiang River, Chengjiang River, it is a Danxia landform spectacle with different postures and enchanting scenery.

Due to the imperfect infrastructure and facilities posing security risks, the local government has implemented a fully enclosed management from August 15, 2018, and developed the scenic area in a reasonable way. Gaoyiling Scenic Area is to be opened for the first time on September 27, 2021.
