In recent years, Beihu District has been making efforts to implement the strategies of “Three Hubs and Four New Missions” and “One Pole and Six Districts”, and closely combined ecological protection and sustainable development with cultural tourism development. It takes cultural tourism industry as the leading industry and gives full play to its advantageous resources, in an effort to strengthen and expand cultural tourism industry.  

 

 

On July 30, the 2021 Hunan (Summer) Rural Cultural Tourism Festival was held in Yangtian Lake Grassland, Beihu District, Chenzhou City. Luo Chenghui, secretary of CPC Beihu District, said that Yangtian Lake Grassland has the southernmost, green, diversified and coolest alpine grassland resources, and he hopes more tourists can visit here. 

 

 

Yangtian Lake Grassland Scenic Area is located in Beihu District, Chenzhou City, with an average altitude of 1,314 meters and a total area of 40 square kilometers. It’s the southernmost alpine grassland in China, and the closest one to Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao. It only takes 1.5 hours to the grassland from Guangzhou, Guangdong Province by high-speed train. It’s known as the most beautiful alpine grassland in South China. In 2021, it has won many honorary titles, such as Hunan’s Demonstration Unit for Standardized Services of Self-driving Tour and Camper Van, and the Most Beautiful Alpine Grassland for Leisure Camping in South China.

Guangdong Tourism General Rating is an annual evaluation event for the tourism industry in Guangdong Province. The nominations will be submitted to Chinese City First Media Tourism Alliance, and then participate in the "China Tourism General Ranking" of that year.
