On January 14, the special bus line for red tourism was launched in Beifu Village, Lutang Town, Beihu District, which connects such scenic spots as Former Residence of Deng Hua with the hope of innovating party history education, promoting red cultural tourism and rural revitalization.
The bus line is operated by Linyi Bus Company with three buses a day. It departs from Tianlong Station at 6:30, 13:00 and 15:30, passes through Xiaobu and Yangshan ancient villages, and arrives at the Former Residence of Deng Hua. The buses return to Tianlong Station soon after making a pit stop. The fare starts at 2 yuan and is charged according to distance.
“In the past, villagers had to transfer at Guiyang County on the way to the urban area of Chenzhou, with a one-way fare of more than 10 yuan. Now, there is a direct bus which only takes 6 yuan,” a villager said happily.
This special line not only promotes the red culture of Beihu, but also facilitates people’s travel. Next, Beihu District will continue to optimize the integration of urban and rural passenger transport via opening a series of special tourism lines, making sure buses are available for all villages.
