According to statistics, Guiyang received 51,600 tourists, achieving a comprehensive tourism income of 23.227 million yuan during the Spring Festival holiday this year.

 

Based on its profound local culture, Guiyang has made great efforts to dig out red tourism resources and build red tourist attractions, promoting its red tourism. In the newly built scenic spot of “Night Lodging in Pear Mountain”, Long March Hall, Long March Experience Hall, Party Building Hall and Wang Shulan’s Revolutionary Site have also been established, attracting a continuous stream of visitors to recall those revolutionary predecessors’ accomplishments and admire the red culture.

 

According to statistics, such red tourist attractions as Night Lodging in Pear Mountain, Ouyang Hai Residence, Soviet Government Site, Deng Sanxiong Residence and Guiyang Foundation Base for Xiangnan Guerrilla received 9,400 tourists during the Spring Festival holiday.

 

Family self-help tour becomes more and more popular as people’s income increases and transportation gets improved in Guiyang County. With their superior tourism resources, Dangjia Village, Huishan Village and Fucang Mountain in the county have attracted a large number of self-driving tourists for sightseeing, which not only helps local farmers sell agricultural products to increase their income, but also boost their visibility.

 

To ensure a safe and orderly holiday market, the relevant functional departments in Guiyang have made coordinated efforts to patrol and inspect all scenic spots in order to address problems in a timely manner.

 

As of February 6, Guiyang received 192,280 tourists and realized a comprehensive tourism income of 86.765 million yuan, a year-on-year growth of 10.23%.
