With the theme of “New Culture and Tourism, New Science and Technology and New Future”, the 2022 Hunan Culture and Tourism Industry Expo will be held in Changsha International Convention and Exhibition Center from August 25 to August 27, according to a press conference held recently.
The expo aims to vigorously warm up the first Hunan Tourism Development Conference and to actively promote the recovery of the cultural and tourism industry with regular anti-epidemic measures. It will not only focus on science and technology to empower cultural tourism so as to help improve the quality and upgrading of the cultural and tourism industry, but also constantly stimulate the new vitality of cultural and tourism consumption.
Moreover, it will further stabilize the economy, promote consumption, boost the comprehensive development of rural revitalization, and create a cultural and tourism event with high standards and great popularity.
The expo will cover a total area of 58,000 square meters, and over 700 enterprises will participate. The main venue will be located in Changsha International Convention and Exhibition Center, consisting of two parts—image display as well as transaction and interaction. Ten exhibition areas will be arranged.
The image display part will focus on culture and tourism resources, cultural tourism facilities, intelligent cultural tourism achievements, cultural and tourism towns, and cultural industrial parks in Hunan and other provinces.
The transaction and interaction part will cover the exhibition areas for new business forms of cultural and tourism industry, such as intelligent cultural tourism, cultural and tourism facilities, intangible cultural heritages, recommended cultural and tourism supporting resources, agriculture-culture-tourism integration as well as cultural and tourism finance.
The sub-venue will be set up in Ouyang Xun Cultural Park on Shutang Mountain, Changsha. The exhibition area will be divided into four zones, focusing on new sci-tech elements like hi-tech cultural and tourism facilities, entertainment and recreation equipment, parent-child and immersive experience as well as commercial services.
What will be highlighted in the exhibition area are new technologies, products, achievements, innovative ideas, services, business forms and progresses in culture and tourism technology field.
A variety of activities will kick off during the expo, including an opening ceremony and exhibition area tour, a provincial forum on cultural and tourism in-depth integration and development in rural areas, senior tourism managers symposium, a provincial cultural and tourism product promotion conference, the 2022 Hunan Cultural and Tourism Commodity Competition as well as a closing ceremony.
Besides, there will be various interactive activities and products to boost cultural tourism and consumption, including “blind box” prizes, consumer coupons, sec-killing of cultural and tourism commodities, parent-child study tours and nighttime economy consumption carnival.
The expo will also set up an intelligent cultural tourism exhibition area for the first time, and open an immersive experience area of admiring Hunan’s cultural and tourism resources online.
During the expo, a livestreaming event will be launched to create a new scene for online consumption of the expo. At the same time, such OAT platforms as Meituan, Ctrip and Fliggy will be invited to carry out livestream marketing and issue consumption vouchers.
