More than 30,000 peonies in Sizhoushan National Rocky-Desertification Park of Dingxin Village, Chonglingjiang Town, Guiyang County are in full bloom, drawing many tourists.
Sizhoushan National Rocky-Desertification Park is a karst landform. In 2017, Guiyang County introduced peonies from Henan Province to create a peony garden by exploring new paths for ecological protection, restoration and rational utilization in karst areas.
Currently, more than 30,000 peonies of nearly 10 varieties are planted in the park, which helps control rocky desertification and drive the development of rural tourism.
