The cultural wall engraved with the poem “Spearing Fish” by Han Yu, a poet of the Tang Dynasty, at the east gate of Beihu Park, attracted people passing by to appreciate it.
The poem “Spearing Fish” is a five-character poem written by Han Yu, who was on his way to Chenzhou by boat with Li Bokang, the governor of Chenzhou. This poem describes the grand scenes of the process, the harvest and the feelings of fish spearing.
The Han Gong Temple in the park is under construction and will be completed soon, which will allow visitors to enjoy the poetic and cultural Chenzhou.
