Yangtian Lake Grassland Campsite wins national 5C

22 campsites have reached the national 5C and 4C standards for self-drive and recreational vehicles, according to the quality rating results released by the National Technical Committee for Tourism Standardization and the China Tourism Vehicle and Vessel Association. Among them, the Yangtian Lake Grassland Self-drive and Recreational Vehicle (Tent) Campsite in Beihu District of Chenzhou City was rated as a national 5C camp, becoming the first one in our province to receive this honor.
The Yangtian Lake Campsite covers a total area of 1,200 mu (80 hectares). It consists of six parts, including Yangtian Lake Grassland 4A Scenic Spot, Yunji Camp, Yunshe Camp, Yunye Camp, Yunju Camp on the lake, Self-drive Hostel Camp. It is one of the campsites with the largest camping scale, the most extensive influence and the most types of camps in south China.
The campsite integrates outdoor aesthetics with natural beauty, so that travelers can truly live in the scenery. Among them, the Yunye Camp covers an area of 150 mu (10 hectares) and can hold over 300 tents. It also has functional areas such as a starry night theme tent area, a self-pitched area, an activity area, and a camping life service area.
The person in charge of Yangtian Lake Grassland Scenic Spot said that the campsite is an important part of the tourism accommodation industry. The scenic spot will continue to promote the healthy and efficient development of self-drive camping tourism, continuously enhance the attractiveness of self-drive tourism, and provide better services for self-drive tourists with higher standards.
