The 2023 Guidong Health Oxygen Summer Festival will kick off from July 26 to 27. With the theme of “China’s Oxygen City: Cool Guidong”, this event sincerely invites visitors from all over the world to have a trip in Guidong to enjoy the green mountains and clear waters, negative oxygen ions, Red culture, and pollution-free food.
2023 is the opening year of promoting the deep integration of culture and tourism, and the year of recovery and revitalization of the tourism industry after the three-year epidemic.
This event will deeply promote mass tourism, and discusses how healthy oxygen tourism can help rural revitalization. It will also deepen the integration of culture and tourism, and further stimulate the consumption potential of cultural tourism.
As the county with the highest altitude in Hunan Province, Guidong County has a forest coverage rate of more than 80%, and the average temperature is only about 23°C in summer.
With an average of 46,000 negative oxygen ions per cubic centimeter and a maximum instantaneous value of 150,000, the county is a veritable “natural oxygen bar” and “summer resort”. It has been awarded many honors, such as “China’s Best Ecotourism Demonstration County”, and “China’s Top 100 Deep Breathing Small Cities”.
