Mangshan Mountain is located on the north side of the Nanling Mountains, on the border of Hunan and Guangdong provinces. It covers 300,000 mu (20,000 hectares) of primitive forest and has the national first-class water for rafting. 

 

Mangshan Gorge Rafting is situated in Mangshan National Forest Park, a national 4A tourist attraction. The forest park’s forest coverage rate rises to 99.6 percent, and the content of negative ions per square centimeter is as high as 106,900, which is a veritable natural oxygen zone.

 

 

With a total length of 9.8 kilometers and a maximum vertical drop of 298 meters, Mangshan Gorge Rafting boasts the biggest drop among the rafting projects in China.
