According to Guidong County Meteorological Bureau, the average temperature in summer is 23.7 degrees Celsius, about 8 degrees Celsius lower than that in Changsha City. There is no scorching heat in summer and no severe cold in winter, and the number of days when the human body feels the most comfortable is 88.1 days, and the relatively comfortable days are 100.7 days, both ranking first among all counties and cities in the province.

The county has implemented 9 key cultural tourism projects this year, with a total investment of 2.813 billion yuan.
