There is an ancient ginkgo tree in Shanghuang Village, Wanshui Township, Linwu County, which is over 30 meters tall. It is the oldest ginkgo tree in Linwu County, with a history of over 500 years. The ground is carpeted with golden ginkgo leaves in the early winter. 

 

 

Ginkgo trees are the oldest gymnosperms left behind after the Quaternary glacial movement and are one of the most precious tree species in the world. 

 

 

Under the natural conditions, it takes more than 20 years for ginkgo trees to bear fruit, and 40 years to bear fruit in large quantities.
