Sunflowers not only add beauty to the countryside but also drive the development of local rural tourism and fatten villagers’ wallets. 

 

 

“Since the sunflowers began to bloom, there has been an influx of tourists every day in the village. I set up a stall near the sea of sunflowers to sell local specialties, snacks, bottled water, etc., and I can earn 200 to 400 yuan a day,” said a villager.
