The award ceremony for the most popular summer resorts in Hunan in 2024, as well as the 3rd Wellness and Summer Resort Festival, was held in Guidong County on August 27. 

 

 

At the event, 10 units including Guidong County, Yizhang County, and Ningxiang City were rated as the top ten wellness and summer resorts in Hunan Province. 

 

Guidong County and Yizhang County recommended comprehensive tourism resources and boutique routes. The excellent works selected from the first “Cool Guidong” short video competition in 2024 were showcased.

 

 

Besides, special vouchers were also distributed, which tourists can use at specific stores during the festival.Guidong County is the highest above sea level in Hunan Province, with a forest coverage rate of 81.97% and an average summer temperature of 23 ℃. It is an ideal destination for leisure, summer escape, and tourism.
