The first Red Maple Festival was held at the Visitor Center of Mangshan Mountain National Forest Park in Yizhang County on the evening of November 17.
Many singers such as Xu Qiuyi, Du Zhiming, Tu Xueqing, and Zhang Xiang were invited to perform classic songs for the audience, including “Modern Love Stories”, “The Great Wall Never Falls”, “Me and My Motherland”, and “You Are My Eyes”.
Besides, local Yao people, dressed in ethnic costumes, presented bamboo pole dance, bringing a visual and auditory experience integrating nature and art to tourists, receiving applause from the audience.
“I came for Xu Qiuyi and my childhood memories. It’s beautiful and tranquil. It’s a special place, for I had a good mood as soon as I arrived here,” said a tourist from Hong Kong.
