Tourists explored the underground core area of Baoshan National Mine Park in Guiyang County of Chenzhou City on December 21. They rode the tour train and passed through the mine tunnel for an immersive experience of mining and metallurgy culture. 

 

 

Baoshan began mining since the Tang Dynasty, and has become a “barren mountain” after thousands of years of mining. 

 

 

In recent years, the county government has invested over 200 million yuan in restoring the mine. The original waste mine has become a tree-lined park, and industrial and mining study tour has become a local tourism brand.
