Chenzhou promotes cultural tourism in Zhangjiajie

The Chenzhou Cultural and Tourism Promotion Conference was held in Zhangjiajie City on January 14, which is the first cultural and tourism promotion conference Chenzhou launched this year.

Over 600 people including those from cultural and tourism departments, relevant associations, major travel agencies, and cultural and tourism enterprises from both regions attended it to advance the development of the cultural and tourism market in Chenzhou.
 
The rippling Dongjiang Lake, the fantastic Wuzhi Peak, the magnificent Yangtian Lake grassland, the Danxia landscape of Gaoyi Ridge, the primitive forests of Mangshan National Forest Park, the Fuquan Art Springs in Rucheng County, the picturesque Feitian Mountain, and the sunrise and sea of cloud in Huilong Mountain in Zixing... The eight major scenic areas of Chenzhou were promoted at the conference, showcasing the picturesque landscapes of Chenzhou.

In order to attract tourists, representatives from eight travel agencies, including Chenzhou Tianyun Cultural Tourism Development Co., Ltd., Hunan Banxia International Travel Agency, and Chenzhou Lexiang International Travel Agency, promoted Chenzhou’s location advantages and tourist routes. The unique cultural and tourism resources, as well as cultural and tourism gift packages, have attracted travel agencies to seek further cooperation with Chenzhou.
 
Whether they have been involved in the cultural and tourism market of Chenzhou for many years or are planning to explore the Chenzhou market, they are deeply attracted by the natural scenery of Chenzhou.

Chenzhou and Zhangjiajie has achieved efficient cooperation among industry associations, scenic areas, and travel agencies. This promotion conference meant cooperation and sharing of cultural and tourism resources for travel agencies of Chenzhou that also learned experience in promoting resources and attracting customers to Chenzhou. 
 
In 2024, Yachun Travel Agency in Chenzhou City attempted to explore the inbound tourism market. In just one year, it has earned a good reputation and accumulated enough experience.
 
General Manager Fan Hongcheng said, “We need to learn from Zhangjiajie, like the ways it attracts tourists and service concepts, strengthen our deep cooperation with Zhangjiajie in the inbound tourism market, and explore inbound tourism markets such as South Korea and Malaysia.”
 
Since the second Hunan Tourism Development Conference held in Chenzhou, Chenzhou has seen a boom in the tourism market. In 2024, Chenzhou received 79.731 million visitors, a year-on-year increase of 12.81%. In 2025, Chenzhou and Zhangjiajie will achieve win-win development in the cultural and tourism market through their cooperation.
