Hot springs in Chenzhou has welcomed increasing visitors with the popularity of the “Celebrate Spring Festival in Hot Springs” event.

 

According to hot spring companies, ten hot springs including Fuquan Art Springs in Rucheng County, Nuanshui Hot Spring in Rucheng County, Mangshan Forest Hot Spring, Shimu Hot Spring in Suxian District, Longnyu Hot Spring in Beihu District, and Yuzhong Hot Spring in Jiahe County received approximately 300,000 visitors per month from December 23, 2024 to January 22, 2025, with a year-on-year increase of about 25%. It’s expected to reach the next peak during the Spring Festival holiday.

 

Chenzhou, known as the “City of Hot Springs in China”, currently has over 40 natural hot spring scenic spots, with each one exuding a unique charm.

 

The Fuquan Art Springs is a rare “radon spring” in China, with the hot spring water up to 98 ℃. 

 

Tourists can enjoy a discount of up to 65% when booking rooms and a discount of 20 yuan per ticket for Fuquan Art Springs.

 

 

Besides, performances such as Burning Incense Dragon dance, fireworks show, and the God of Wealth sending blessings will be launched from January 29 to February 3.

 

In the Mangshan Forest Hot Spring Hotel, tourists can bathe in the boundless cliff hot springs to enjoy the beautiful natural scenery. Winter is the best season to watch the sunrise, sea of clouds, snow and rime landscapes at Mangshan Mountain.

 

 

Students and those over 60 years old can enjoy an 88% discount on hot spring tickets with their student ID or ID card from January 28 to February 12.

 

In addition, tourists can have a chance to win prizes by participating in touhu,  taking family photos, and guessing riddles.

 

 

The Shimu Hot Spring is located in the sea of bamboo halfway up the mountain. The rich cultural and artistic atmosphere makes people intoxicated, with Feitian Mountain, Danxia landform, and Gaoyi Ridge decorating the landscape.

 

From January 29 to February 12, the “God of Sixi Wealth (it symbolizes wealth, happiness, longevity and prosperity)” area will be set up, where tourists can enjoy lucky draws by sharing their visit, and the God of Wealth will parade to give tourists lucky bags. There will also be a hot spring music party, allowing tourists to enjoy a variety of music while soaking in hot springs, as well as the Guandan  (a card game) competition with abundant prizes.

Tourists can visit the hot spring 3 times with 299 yuan from January to February.

 

Those born in the Year of the Snake can enjoy a 50% discount on hot spring tickets with ID card. Those following its official account on Douyin before February 20 can get free admission and free accommodation.

 

There is hot and cold water out of two springs simultaneously in the Nuanshui Hot Spring, with  the hot spring water at 50 ℃. The natural geothermal hot spring is rich in selenium, with clear water and sweet aftertaste. It can be drinkable and be used for a bath.14 beneficial trace elements are good for physical health.

 

Various activities will be held from January 28 to February 4, such as mecha show, treasure hunt, door-blocked wine, bamboo pole dance, hot spring bean curd jelly, and dumpling making.
