On February 2, there was a long queue of people at the entrance of Fuquan Hot Spring Resort, where the “God of Wealth” dressed in red Tang costumes, with gold ingots in hand, brought good luck to tourists, from whom the children begged for red envelopes.

 

“The hot springs here, with good water quality and high flow, are very suitable for bathing. It only took 2 hours to drive here from our home,” said a tourist from Shaoguan City of Guangdong Province, who came here for the Spring Festival for the second time.

 

 

During the holiday, the scenic area launched a series of promotional activities, as well as folk activities such as the “God of Wealth” offering blessings and the Burning Incense Dragon Dance, attracting a large number of tourists.

 

“In recent days, we have received nearly 4,000 visitors per day, with 70% of them coming from the Greater Bay Area,” said Li Peng, deputy general manager of the scenic area.
