Since the launch of the Chenzhou Hot Spring Wellness Season in winter 2024, Chenzhou has carried out a series of characteristic activities around forest vacation, ecological wellness, cultural experience, sports and fitness, attracting many tourists to come to Chenzhou for tourism and vacation.

During the Spring Festival holiday, the top ten hot spring enterprises, including Fuquan Art Spring, Mangshan Forest Hot Spring, and Shimu Hot Spring, received nearly 200,000 visitors and achieved a comprehensive income of over 20 million yuan.
Although the Spring Festival holiday was over, the hot spring tourism market is still booming in Chenzhou.
The Mangshan Forest Hot Spring Hotel welcomed a group of tourists from Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau in the past weekend.
“Hot springs can relieve fatigue, which is suitable for people at my age,” said a tourist from Guangdong.
As a leisure tourism project for wellness, hot springs have left unforgettable experiences for many middle-aged and elderly tourists with their unique healing effects.
Chenzhou continues efforts to create its own old-age support brand and promote the development of silver-haired economy to tap into the potential of Chenzhou’s cultural and tourism consumption, promote local characteristic culture, and showcase the unique charm of Chenzhou’s hot spring resources.
Since last December, Chenzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Tourism, Radio, TV and Sports, together with various hot spring enterprises, has launched a series of preferential policies, and carried out diversified promotions in Changsha subway stations as well as online platforms such as Xiaohongshu and Douyin, which have driven the development of hot spring tourism in Chenzhou.
In November and December of last year, the Shimu Hot Spring Tourist Resort received 22,000 visitors and achieved a revenue of 3.3 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 15% and 17% respectively. The Reshui Hot Spring Tourist Resort in Rucheng County had 90,000 visitors and achieved a revenue of over 38.3 million yuan.
Currently, Chenzhou is becoming one of the wellness tourism destinations for domestic tourists with its unique hot spring resources and thoughtful services. Next, it will continue to create more high-quality wellness tourism products. Meanwhile, it will also further deepen the integration of culture and tourism and improve service levels to provide tourists with more diversified and personalized tourism experiences, so as to enhance the reputation of the tourism image brand of Chenzhou.
