After months of careful preparation, the Yangtian Lake Grassland Scenic Area will open on April 19 to welcome tourists from all over the world.

The scenic area launched an ecological restoration project after the Spring Festival. After the efforts of nearly a hundred workers day and night on the grassland, 35,000 square meters of grassland have now been restored.
In order to provide tourists with more diverse and colorful tour experiences, the scenic area has also upgraded its shooting, archery and other amusement projects. Some Internet-famous photo spots have also been updated.
At the same time, the scenic area has promoted the maintenance and renewal of supporting facilities, and carried out safety inspections, tourist reception, hygiene cleaning and other work, so as to create a clean, comfortable and safe environment for tourists.
“The scenic area has renovated Sanhetu Road, with a construction area of nearly 20,000 square meters. The queue corridor and related supporting facilities have also been improved. Meanwhile, the toilet spaces have been increased,” said Liu Huadong, deputy general manager of the scenic area.
The scenic area will launch a grand event on the opening day. The Hobbit Elves will engage in interactive performances with tourists, and four anime guests will guide tourists to be immersed in a dreamlike fairy tale world.
In addition, as the May Day holiday is approaching, in order to cope with heavy tourist influx during the holiday, the relevant functional departments of Beihu District will increase efforts to guarantee transportation, service, security and other aspects for tourist reception together with the scenic area.
“About 1,100 new parking spaces will be added before the upcoming May Day holiday. The signs along the way to the scenic area have been improved. During the May Day holiday, 90 security guards and 30 shuttle buses will be in service. Meanwhile, a traffic diversion plan is also in place for the smooth travel during the holiday,” said Liu Huadong.
